Many people come to Port Logan to fish - either from a boat (private or charter) or from the shore. There is a beautiful beach around the bay.
In Port Logan itself, there is a Victorian fish pond within walking distance of the inn. The fish pond is open to the public daily in the summer, from 10 am to 5 pm.
The Logan Botanic Garden is a couple of miles away, and keen walkers can take a different route from Port Logan, avoiding most of the road.
