THE PORT LOGAN INN

There is a beautiful beach around the bay - at one end is the quay and bell tower and at the other end, a Victorian fish pond open to the public.

The Logan Botanic Garden is a couple of miles away, and keen walkers can take a different route from Port Logan, avoiding most of the road.

Many people come to Port Logan to fish - either from a boat (private or charter) or from the shore.

Horse riding can be arranged locally.

The Mull of Galloway has an excellent website covering attractions in the area, including information on Logan House Garden.

Stranraer has an interesting history.

There are many gardens and tearooms open in the summer.
