By road : You will come from the north on the A77 or from the east on the A75. If you come from the north, just as you enter Stranraer, take the road marked to Portpatrick. After you have left Stranraer, follow the signs for Drummore and then for the turnoff to Port Logan. If you come from the east, there is a turnoff for Drummore a few miles before Stranraer, also posted for the Logan Botanical Gardens. Follow the signs to the gardens, which you will pass - Port Logan is about a mile further on.

By ferry: Only a 20 minute drive from Stranraer and the Stena Line Ferries from Belfast, or 30 minutes' drive from Cairnryan's P&O Sailings from Larne in Northern Ireland.
